The Role Of the Parents Association

Scoil Mháirtín, Parents Association enables parents to take part in ensuring the best support to their child’s education. The Parents Association work with the school’s principal, teachers and board of management to build an effective partnership between school and home.

The Association are involved in organising many fundraising activities throughout the school year. All funds raised by the Scoil Mháirtín Parents Association are used for the school and to benefit all the children attending Scoil Mháirtín.

A number of events/activities receive financial support from the Parents Association including : Drumming workshops, School Trips, School Tours, Communion Day Refreshments, Cork City Sports Fees etc.

We hold a meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of every month (September – June) in the school at 8p.m. All parents are welcome to attend.
